Huntington Museum Director & Huntington CEO Featured Speakers at Unique Art/Business Seminar
The Heckscher Museum of Art, Executive Director & CEO Dr. Michael Schantz and Huntington based Art League of LI CEO Charlee Miller will be the featured speakers at a unique seminar entitled “The Business of Art” on August 8, 2013 at the Amsterdam at Harborside in Port Washington. Dr. Schantz will speak on “The Business of Museums- Their Impact on Communities’ Economic Development.” Miller will speak on “Art as a Marketing Tool for Business.” Regina Gil, E.D. of the Great Neck Arts Center , will speak on “Art as a Community Revitalization Tool.” The seminar is a unique collaboration of government, business, not for profits and art.
