History Takes a Vacation

Northport Historical Society will once again host their
three-day mini-camp for students entering second through sixth grade in the fall. This summer, the focus will be on Nautical
Northport and students will explore the variety of ways the harbor has been utilized throughout history and in turn, helped shape the community. Students will be able to try their hand at creating a scrimshaw design and also have the
opportunity to build their own “ship.” The program will culminate on Thursday with a boat tour of historic Northport harbor aboard a boat provided by Seymour’s
