Campari Ristorante to host soup luncheon for Seniors of Huntington & Northport.....
The Italian Restaurant, Campari at 225 Main Street in Northport Village, has been under new ownership for one year (February 1st) and the owners are celebrating. They have been serving home-made sauces & soups in their restaurant throughout this past year. But with the change in season, they have been making a special soup every weekend which has gained a small following.
Always using fresh, season-appropriate vegetables, unusual spices & combinations, the soups have been called 'exotic', 'interesting' & 'delicious'. From Curried Parsnip soup to White Asparagus with Fontina Cheese, the range of recipes are unique.  As part of their one year anniversary, they have decided to continue offering the soups, but are asking the diners to vote on their favorite one. For the next two months they will be collecting a soup vote. At the close of the vote, they are to host a luncheon featuring the winning soup recipe for Huntington & Northport Seniors. Seniors who frequently attend the Huntington Senior Nutrition Center, will be able to reserve a seat for the luncheon, which is limited due to the small-size of the restaurant.
Please come and support the local restaurant and help create a dynamic, competitive race for the winning soup. Campari is open Tuesday-Sunday 12pm-10pm and the soup is available every day until sold out. They have a twitter account that posts an announcement of when the soup has been made and which soup it is. Search 'Campari Specials' on Twitter.  Campari is located at 225 Main Street, Northport NY 11768 - across the street from Village Hall and the Northport Post Office. 631-757-6700 for questions or reservations.
