This Friday, December 14, the Firefly Artists, and Our Town Calendars, the creators of the popular “There’s No Place Like Northport” calendar, are hosting a holiday party/fundraiser, and all are welcome to attend.
The event will benefit Long Island Cares.
The Firefly Artists will be hosting their “100 for $100” event where shoppers can select from a wide array of artwork priced at $100 each or less. A basket of assorted artwork valued at more than $500 will be raffled off.
The 2013 “There’s No Place Like Northport” calendar will also be on sale that night, with $3 from each calendar sold going to Long Island Cares. The 2013 calendar, whose theme is “Memory Lane,” showcases images of the Village’s most beloved landmarks and includes local dates as well as national holidays. Guests will also be able to meet the photographers and artists whose work is featured in the calendar.
Refreshments will be served. Raffles can be purchased at the event.
