FIRST YOU EAT, THEN YOU LAUGH
Here’s a deal: For $35, enjoy a full gourmet meal and a professional comedy show. That’s the old-fashioned bargain being offered Friday, March 15th, at a fundraiser at Northport High School. Homemade food and specialty dishes from a variety of restaurants and caterers will be offered in the eleventh annual event sponsored by Students for 60,000. After dinner, enjoy the humor of professional comedians from the number one comedy club in New York City, The Gotham Comedy Club. All proceeds will benefit Students for 60,000, an organization at Northport High School dedicated to meeting the needs of the poor, locally and internationally. The dinner starts at 6 PM at the school, located at 154 Laurel Hill Road. The comedy show will be held from about 8 – 10 PM. For tickets, e-mail cespiros@gmail.com.
