Emilia Rabito Baer will be giving a lecture on the 2012 Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II. The lecture will include a discussion of the special events as well as pictures of the exquisitely fine jewelry owned by the monarchy. These possessions include diamonds, rubies, emeralds, and sapphires set in crowns, pins, bracelets, necklaces and rings. The presentation will also include a peek into Princess Katherine and Prince William’s Kensington Palace home which was recently refurbished for $19 million with Queen Elizabeth’s approval.
