Real Estate: Northport Whale Watch Weekly

Follow the link below for the details of real estate transactions for the six months ended June 30, 2012 compared to the same period in 2011. 

Most notable is that prices for Northport and East Northport remained stable, while Fort Salonga, Eaton's Neck and Asharoken had marked reductions in median prices. 

On a bright note, inventories of homes have fallen dramatically in all 5 towns.  For instance, Northport dropped from 190 units to 113, East Northport from 139 to 122, Fort Salonga from 62 to 34 and Asharoken/Eaton's Neck from 30 to 16. 

This could mean good news for sellers in upcoming months.
