An Electrifying Power Restoration Experience: Renarts employees thought their dark days were over when power was restored to Jericho Turnpike in East Northport Monday, but no such luck. An hour after LIPA contract crews came in and fixed some downed wires, manager Chase Ceparano switched on the lights and got a bit of a shock.

Town Passes $181.2 M Budget: The Huntington Town Board approved a $181.2 million operating budget for 2013 in a special meeting Thursday. The budget was approved 3-2, with Supervisor Frank Petrone and Council Members Mark Cuthbertson and Susan Berland voting in favor.
