:  A homeowner present at the time was uninjured in an early afternoon fire on 7th Ave. West off Elwood Road Tuesday, said East Northport Fire Department Chief Michael Tarantino.

Auto Body at 4005 Jericho Turnpike has been neglected for years, sporting boarded windows, a collapsed roof, and a landscaping of weeds and garbage. Well, someone bought it.

: Huntington Station resident Aaron Tarkin was charged with arson Wednesday related to a Feb. 13 house fire in East Northport, according to the Suffolk County Police Arson Squad. It comes just one day after Tarkin, 25, was charged with felony DWI and child endangerment charges in Huntington Station.

Northport Raises Harbor Circle Sewer Fees: The Northport Village Board of Trustees approved a $350 annual sewer use fee increase for the residents of Harbor Circle in Centerport on Tuesday to align with increasing sewage plant maintenance costs.
