Post-Sandy debris cleanup is still going strong. Do you see any debris leftover in your neighborhood?

Cleaning up Hurricane Sandy's mess is a massive undertaking that has brought in thousands of trucks worth of debris. It's an around the clock job for both the town and village highway departments that continues to this day.

Most large pieces of debris have been cleared away, although things like tree trunk stumps, left from immediate efforts to clear fallen trees from roadways, are reportedly still lingering in some neighborhoods.
