Thousands lined the streets of Huntington for the 79th annual St. Patrick's Day parade, Long Island's oldest and largest, Sunday afternoon.

The brisk and sunny spring weather lent a glow to the merry marchers, among them 25 pipe and drum bands from all over Long Island, led by the Huntingotn Ancient Order of Hibernians.
