Just stepped outside on Main St. in Northport. Street is empty. Wind and rain is light. No flooding -- til later.

I understand Northport Schools expect to reopen Monday. Tues(Election day) School were scheduled to be closed, but Npt will hold school, however, no transportation will be available? ! Poor idea

I grew up in East Northport, happiest days of my life. I still feel a strong connection and have been checking the news daily. My prayers are with all of you.

Hi all..and thanks so Mich.for your prayers. I have not been very affected by the storm except for feeling the pains of others. I would like to start a bartering Exchange for people on Long island...we all have "stuff to donate and/or Exchange"....ex; lamps..furniture..dish sets..etc..baby items..and so on. This is the time to donate and barter if you have needs. Tell me ur thoughts.Thx

Sir, my name is Linda West from a corner of Washington State.I wonder if you could help me on some information on my Brother Roy Gilmer. He lived over a bar,, He didn't walk well
at all.He Died Nov. 3rd I fine nothing on him. Bar caught fire. he didn't get out, Think this was the 1st. we lost one sister in may and now him so now just my sister and I left, I know little about PCs He lived in Hyde Park. We have seen him since 1984 when our Mother passed. Reason the kids in school teased and was so mean to him so bad He would never come home. He begged him. such a small town.
