The Coast Guard Auxiliary Band kept the energy high Saturday as boaters of all stripes filled Northport Harbor Saturday for the annual Blessing of the Fleet.
It was a sun-kissed morning and the tide was high as sailboats, powerboats, kayakers and even geese took turns zig zagging around the harbor.
Rev. Kristina Hansen of , Rev. Peter Dooley of and Monsignor T. Peter Ryan of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs in Centerport each stood along the Northport Village dock to bless boats as they motored by.
