Pirates, cows, crazy boats, cheerleaders and bands rock Northport Sunday for Cow Harbor Day.

Argh! Pirates overtook Main Street Sunday for Cow Harbor Day.

But it wasn't a buccaneer invasion. Cows, firefighters, war veterans, cheerleaders, bands and more rocked Northport, beginning with the annual Cow Harbor Day Parade.

One day after 5,400 runners took part in Northport's renown 10K, an endless stream of bodies crowded into the Village for an afternoon of rides, food, shopping and gawking.
