Patch Picks: 5 Great Places for Super Bowl Food

Starting today, Northport Patch will run a new weekly feature called Patch Picks, highlighting editor and reader picks of great local businesses, destinations, services, organizations, ways to spend a day off and more.

This week, we'll highlight great places to get Super Bowl Food.

   Chef/owner Artie Berke offers a full pizzeria take-out menu but has added Super Bowl specials. Nina's is offering a free beer with a dozen wings. This is eat-in only so it works while you're picking up your take-out order. Nina's has a 50-inch television, too. Other special s include a dozen wings and regular pizza for $15.99; Nina's special 30-inch party pizza that feeds 16, two-liter soda and two-dzoen garlic knots for $30. Chef Artie's piece de resistance is large football-shaped calzones stuffed with your choice of fillings and your team name in dough on the top. $25.

   Fireside has an extensive catering menu including heroes, trays of wings and various platters with all the game-day favorites. A 100 hors d'oeuvres platter with 30 buffalo wings, 20 mozzarella sticks, 30 BBQ ribs, 20 chicken tenders and 2 dipping sauces is $59.99.

   Changing Times  is happy to cater your Super Bowl party.  Their well-known wings start at $26 for platter of 50 with all the garnishes. They also have mini slider burgers, tacos, chicken fingers, poppers, broccoli bites, fried shrimp platters plus more from $22-$46.

   Chef’s spinach pizza was selected as a homeotwn favorite  on the Food Network show The Best Thing I Ever Ate! by chef Adam Gertler. Chefs also has an extensive catering menu including  items such as a full tray of Buffalo wings for $69; a full tray of mozzarella sticks for $59 or a full tray of sausage and peppers for $60.
