Nov. 29: Nursery School Night; PTSA Meeting

Hello and welcome to the Tuesday edition of "The Daily Five," a rundown of things to know or do in the community.

1. Weather: Showers likely, mainly after 5 p.m. Areas of fog before 10 a.m. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a high near 62. Southeast wind between 6 and 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

2. Coat Drive: For the sixth straight year, is giving away a slice for every coat donated to a local veterans residence. Drop off coats at Nina's any time during the day through the end of the month.

3. PTSA Meeting: The Northport-East Northport PTSA will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the faculty dining room.

4. Nursery School Night: will be at the to display materials and to speak with you on an individual basis about their schools’ philosophies, objectives, schedules, and fees. 7 p.m. FREE.
