Nov. 22: Blood Drive; Thanksgiving Concert

Hello and welcome to the Tuesday edition of "The Daily Five," a rundown of things to know or do in the community.

1. Weather: A chance of rain or drizzle, mainly after 3 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 52. East wind around 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.

2. Blood Drive: A will be held at the between 2:45 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Must be between 17 (parental permission required) and 75, weigh a minimum of 110 pounds and be in good health. Call Shawne Albero at (631) 327-2051 to make an appointment.

3. Thanksgiving Concert: Recording artists Joe and Tracy Cruz (formerly of East Northport) will be appearing at Ministries with their two daughters in concert at 7 p.m. FREE

4. Planning Board: The Northport Village Planning Board will meet at at 7 p.m.

5. Variety Show: The Variety Show will take place at 7 p.m.
