2. Meet the Candidates: Candidates for Northport Village Board of Trustees elections on March 20 will meet to discuss issues and take questions at 8 p.m. in . Trustees Jerry Maline and Damon McMullen are running unopposed for open seats. Refreshments will be served.

3. Huntington Town Board: The Huntington Town Board will meet in Town Hall at 7 p.m. The agenda is attached as a PDF.

4. Book Discussion: The will be discussing "Lost and Found" by Christy Crandell at the at 7 p.m. Christy was a "stay-at-home" mom with a perfect life and family until her world was shattered when her son Ryan became addicted to drugs. Christy will be Skyping into the book discussion. FREE

5. How to Protect your Special Needs Child: The Center for Wealth Preservation presents a workshop on developing a life care plan for your child with special needs at the at 7 p.m. The program will touch on topics including planning the transition through the school years and different schools, preventing the loss of government benefits, and supplemental needs trusts.
