Last Chance: Job Search Workshop

Beat the unemployment blues at East Northport LIbrary from 6:30-9 p.m. Wednesday

The East Northport Library is hosting a job search work shop on Wednesday from 6:30 to 9 p.m. for the long-term unemployed.

Unemployment rates have inched up since last year on Long Island according to the State Department of Labor's most recent numbers. If you count yourself among the unemployed or under-employed, get a leg up on the competition with free guidance from expert Stan Broitman.

Career Coach Stan Broitman will review essential job search skills, resume writing, networking, and interviewing at the Wednesday workshop. He will also discuss the 10 most important “to-dos” for finding a job, including developing a job search discipline and working or volunteering while you’re looking for work.

Are you looking for a job? Tell us how the search is going and what you've found works in the job search.
