Free Health Screening: is offering free health screenings which include a brief cardiac history, blood pressure, simple blood test for cholesterol, and diabetes. Appropriate patient education and referrals as needed for clients above the age of 18. Elwood Library, 10 a.m.- 2 p.m.

Opera Night: Long Island's best singers will perform opera classics at . 7:30-9:30 p.m., $10. Check out our video for a preview.

Museum Concert: Celebrating The Heckscher Museum's exhibition Ripped: The Allure of Collage, internationally acclaimed flutist Michelle LaPorte and guitarist Gerry Saulter will perform a "musical collage." Their program will bring to life a unique collage of lyrical and lively flute and guitar music from composers around the world. 7-8:30 p.m., FREE

Wrestling: Northport @Tournament - Locust Valley, 11 a.m. at Locust Valley High School

Concert: David Massengill will perform a tribute to Jack Hardy at the Congregational Church of Huntington in Centerport. This concert begins at 8:30 pm and will be preceded at 7:30 pm with a one-hour "open mic." $20.

Operation Warmth: Donate coats, jackets, hats, gloves, and scarves every day through Jan. 13 at around Northport.
