East Northporter to Compete for 'Miss Long Island'

Linda Simicic, 22, of East Northport will compete in the Miss Long Island 2013 beauty pageant at the Patchogue Theater for the performing Arts on August 12.

A student athlete, Simicic can be found either volunteering at her local church or rotary club, or playing such sports as soccer or lacrosse. She hopes to win the Miss Long Island Title to inspire others in the community to aim at achieving their goals and will be advocating for raising awareness about eating disorders.

The winner of the Miss Long Island 2013 Pageant will represent this region at a statewide pageant comprised of winning queens from throughout all of New York State, and will proudly make appearances as Miss Long Island at a myriad of community events across the Island.
