Cyclist Hit Outside Northport High School

A cyclist was struck by a car outside Northport High School Friday morning; police say no serious injuries were reported.

A cyclist of unspecified age was struck by a black Honda Accord outside of Northport High School on Laurel Hill Road at 7:39 a.m. Friday. Rescue was notified although it does not appear that anyone was seriously injured, said Suffolk Police.

Patch has not yet been able to determine if the cyclist was a student.
