Dress Your Home For Success

"Dress your home for success" to impress potential buyers. Hiring a professional stager can give you invaluable insight into this process and also help you prepare for the subsequent move.

You are going on an interview for a job so you carefully select what you will be wearing because you want to "dress for success." Sound familiar? If not, read on!

We dress homes for sales success too! Consider hiring a stager to obtain a consult before you bring your home to market. Your stager will provide a report detailing what might be removed, which rooms need painting, the addition of some greenery, perhaps some artwork or curtains. This will also help you eliminate excess clutter and start your packing for your future move. The stager may also suggest the use of a storage unit to help remove furniture and items that are not needed in the home once it's up for sale.

Hiring a stager is a great way to start mentally preparing for your move; once you are committed you will welcome the opportunity to start packing and clearing out unwanted items or storing them for your next home.

I sold my home in two days, and had two families bidding for it. It was a lovely (also a regular) home. I always tended to have a flair for decorating, although not degreed. My decor and accessory placement (and keeping paint fresh) did help sell my home. How could I become a stager, does anyone know? Many people have complimented my style, and neighbors have emulated my decor in their own homes.
