Open Houses this Weekend at Trinity Regional School

Catholic Schools Week begins the winter season of Open Houses at Trinity Regional School.  Prospective parents and families are invited to visit the campuses of Trinity on Sunday, January 26 from 9 AM to 1PM, Wednesday, January 29 from 9-11 AM and every Wednesday in February and March from 9-11 AM.  Tours of the school and registration packets for the upcoming school year will be available. 

Trinity Regional School offers programs including Early Childhood, Elementary and Middle School.  Trinity strives to build community, develop and share Catholic faith and encourage service.

The East Northport Campus houses Full and Half Day Nursery and Pre-K, Full Day Kindergarten and Grades 1 through 8. The curriculum follows New York State Common Core and Diocese of Rockville Centre standards.  Technology is integrated into the curriculum and students are offered opportunities to develop the necessary skills for the 21st learning.   “Special” subjects include Art, Music, Computer, Library, Spanish, Physical Education and Science Lab. A variety of co-curricular and extra curricular activities enhance the learning experience.   Early morning drop-off and After Care are available. 

The campus has a fully equipped iMac Computer Lab, Science Lab and Automated Library.  Educational technology in the classroom includes a Smart Board in each room, iPads, student response system and video conferencing.

Enrichment and Academic Support are provided.  7th and 8th Graders are offered experiences to advance through an Art Portfolio program, introduction to Mandarin, Team America Rocketry Challenge and Regents Math and Life Science courses. 

Activities include opportunities for service and leadership, school newspaper and yearbook, Environmental club and game clubs.  Strong emphasis is given to the Theatre Arts.  Three choral groups, Band, Marching Band and the Annual School

Musical production  provide students with  many experiences to develop musical and acting talents.  The CMSAA Sports League offers  students in grades 6, 7 and 8 an interscholastic sports program including cross-country, soccer, basketball, bowling, baseball, softball and volleyball. 

The Melville and Northport campuses offer Half Day Nursery and Pre-K programs.
