Stores in Northport and elsewhere have been selling Halloween items for weeks.
There's an abundance of "fun size" candy packages in the supermarkets, and those temporary costume shops have already been spotted around the area.
Which has us wondering. Is it too soon? Are you buying now, eager to get your hands on candy corn-flavored Oreos? Will it last by Halloween? And is the era of seasonal selling over?
