Northport Restaurant Week has been extended an extra week until Nov. 18 due to Hurricane Sandy. Long Island Restaurant Week has also been extended.
"We trust that many of our residents took their meals and refreshed themselves at our establishments during the storm and the weeks following," said Northport Restaurant Week organizers. "We invite them to come visit us again now that power is mostly restored and they can relax and enjoy our fine cuisine. Bon apetite'."

Newcomers Rockin' Fish and Jellyfish in Centerport joined the line up of the second annual Northport Restaurant Week.
