Northport Restaurant Week Debuts
Thirteen restaurants will offer prix fixe menus Nov. 7 through 13.
The very first Northport Restaurant Week will debut on Monday, featuring 13 fine restaurants around town offering the very best for less. Each restaurant will offer $25 three-course prix fixe menus throughout the week. Maroni's will offer the special for lunch only, and Pumpernickel's excludes Saturday.
The Northport Business Development Committee created the event to promote local restaurants and gain support for all local businesses by cross promotion. They hope to make it an annual occurrence.
"One of the greatest resources we have is a great downtown venue and some wonderful restaurants," said Committee Member and Village Trustee Tom Kehoe. "We're constantly looking for new ways to bring people into the village because we think that once they discover it, they'll come back."
