Dates Set for Second Annual Northport Restaurant Week

A taste of the best for less this November.

will return for a second course this Nov. 4-11, though participating restaurants have not yet been announced.

Thirteen restaurants offering a selection of $25 prix fixe selections participated in last year's restaurant week, which was launched by the Northport Business Development Committee in the hopes of highlighting the area's emerging dining scene.

Chic new restaurants, such as Rob Haddow and Chrissy Costello's and Vincent Michael's J. Michael's Tuscan Steakhouse, seem to be popping up all over Northport, with whispers of a sit-down restaurant from Proprietor and Chef David Intonato coming sometime next year.

"One of the greatest resources we have is a great downtown venue and some wonderful restaurants," said Business Development Committee Chair and Village Trustee Tom Kehoe. "We're constantly looking for new ways to bring people into the village because we think that once they discover it, they'll come back."
