Business Notes: Moves, Expansions and Re-Openings

Hipsters relocating; Barefoot Image reopening and Engeman theater school expanding.

Hipsters is relocating.

The girls and women's clothing store, currently at 166 Main Street, will move to the former location of Meadow Sweet at 791 Fort Salonga Road in the first week of August, according to a note on the store's web site.

The new store is across the street and west of ACE Hardware, east of CVS.

The Architectural Historic Review Board approved the store's new sign and awning last week.

The board a kitchen and cabinetry design company, at that spot. Harbor Design ultimately relocated to 272B Larkfield Road in East Northport, a bigger space with more parking.

The board also approved the new sign for the Barefoot Image, which is relocating to the site of the former which recently relocated to Huntington Village, as well as a new sign for the School of Performing Arts, which is expanding across Main Street to the space where
on Church Street also obtained permission to paint a mural on the back of its building that faces the facility.
