Two Injured in Woodbine Crash, One Charged with DWI
Two seriously injured in early morning crash Friday.
A woman was charged with DWI following a car accident with serious injuries on Woodbine Avenue early Friday morning, say police.
Danielle Hanna, 22, of Greenlawn was driving southbound on Woodbine Avenue around 3:30 a.m. when she lost control of her car and struck a tree.
Hanna was airlifted to Stony Brook Hospital. Her passenger, a 23 year old man from Northport, was transported via ambulance to Huntington Hospital. Both were seriously injured from the crash and are listed in stable condition, according to Suffolk County Police.
Woodbine Avenue was closed between Beach Avenue and 25A until around 10 a.m. Friday morning. The scene of the accident was cleared at approximately 11:30 a.m.
Northport Police are working with the Suffolk County Police Vehicular Crime Unit to investigate the crash.
