Musical "Grease" Finds New Twist at Landmark

Harbor Musical Theater Company presents the musical "Grease" at the Landmark on Main Street, Port Washington, beginning July 20, with additional performances on July 21, 26, 27 and 28.

The production features a twist: adult actors play all the parts as the characters revisit their youth at the 25th Reunion of the Class of ‘59.

Oh: There's another twist: the show stars Kim Kaiman, the wife of North Hempstead's supervisor:

"I attended three different high schools in four years, so I remember the angst of wanting to make new friends and feeling the need to fit in," said Kaiman, who plays the show's iconic new girl, Sandy. "I also attended my own high school reunion this past year, although I won't mention how many years it's been! So I'm able to relate to this particular show on so many levels."

The production also features Old Bethpage resident Ken Young as Doody and Port Washington Patch editor Rich Jacques as Danny.
  • Cost: Tickets are $20.
  • Info: All performances are at 8pm, with an additional 2 p.m. matinee show on July 21. The matinee will feature a discount ticket price of $10 for seniors and children. More information, contact information and links to ticket sales are available atwww.portwashingtonplaytroupe.com.
