Student Film-Viewing Competition
This summer, the Cinema Arts Centre is challenging students to have a new kind of movie-going experience. The participant who attends the most of the pre-selected films will win a private screening of their choice at the Cinema Arts Centre and 4 tickets to a show at The Paramount.

1st Annual Cinema Arts Centre 48-Hour Filmmaking Contest

August 16 to 18th

Do you have what it takes to make a movie in only 48 hours?! Filmmaking teams have just one weekend to make a short film. Filmmakers don’t know what genre(thriller/romance etc) they will be shooting until the start of the competition. All creativity: writing, shooting, editing and adding a musical soundtrack, must occur within the 48 hour window beginning Friday evening at 7 pm and ending Sunday at 7 pm. To add to the mayhem, they must also include some random elements.
