Extreme Bird Show Comes to Long Island

'The Parrots of Rio' is produced by Clint Carvalho, a season seven semifinalist of NBC's 'America's Got Talent.'

Exotic bird trainer Clint Carvalho is opening his extreme bird show Wednesday at White Post Farms in Melville. It’s the venue’s first exotic bird show, and it runs Wednesdays through Sundays, through Sept. 1. 

“The Parrots of Rio” is produced by Carvalho, a season seven semifinalist of NBC’s “America’s Got Talent.” The show features colorful parrots and their vocal and visual aerial acrobatics, as well as daredevil stunts.

Carvalho also produces bird shows in Las Vegas, and works with birds are rescued animals, according to a news released. Having previously been abused or abandoned by other owners, the parrots have been rehabilitated through Carvalho’s bird sanctuary and Top Bird Entertainment.
