Exhibit Opening Reception, "Growing Up Northport: Reflections of Childhood from the 1870s to the 1970s"

Explore childhood from infancy to the teen years through personal memories and belongings of those who grew up in the greater Northport area.  This new exhibition will highlight the changes and progress made in all areas of childrearing from baby bottles and cribs to toys and clothing.  It will also trace the origins and development of children’s literature and hobbies.  Sponsored by Harbor Trading, located at 50 Main Street, Northport, the exhibit will run through October 2011.
