In his new book Peripheral Vision: Irregular Essays from Public Radio, David Bouchier brings humor and insight to the oddities and puzzles of everyday life. These entertaining commentaries were first broadcast on public radio stations WSHU and WSUF on Long Island and in Connecticut where Bouchier’s quirky sense of humor has made him the best-known public radio personality in the region.

Peripheral Vision is the fourth collection of Bouchier’s commentaries on his life as an accidental immigrant in America.  He brings a fresh approach to the rituals that carry us through the year—our obsession with fitness, the horrors of travel, and the many annoyances of modern life.

Copies of Peripheral Vision will be available for purchase and signing. Registration begins November 12 at either library building or online. Please note: ticket holders will be seated first. All others will be seated as space permits. (NENA282)
