Where to See Fireworks on Long Island Saturday

Here's where to go to see the skies lit up with American pride.

Friday's wet weather forced the postponement of many Fourth of July fireworks shows across Long Island. 

The good news is most of them have been rescheduled for Saturday, which is forecast to be a gorgeous day. 

Here's Saturday's rundown of fireworks shows: 

Valley Stream’s Annual 4th of July Fireworks Show

Firemen’s Memorial Field, E. Fenimore St. & Albermarle Ave, Valley Stream

Gates open at 6:30 p.m. for ticket holders only.

Fireworks: 9:15 p.m. 

Stars Over Montauk

Umbrella Beach, Montauk

Fireworks: 9 p.m. Best views from any town beach

Asharoken Fireworks

Asharoken Avenue, Asharoken

Fireworks: 9:20 p.m. 

No parking allowed on any Village street and there are no public parking facilities in the Village.

Fireworks at Morgan Memorial Park

Morgan Memorial Park, Germaine Street and Landing Road, Glen Cove

Fireworks: 9:15 p.m.

Port Jefferson Fireworks Show

East/West Beach, Port Jefferson

Fireworks: At dark, approx. 9-9:30 p.m. 

To gain entrance to the viewing area you must have a valid Port Jefferson Resident Parking Sticker displayed on your car.

Westhampton Beach Country Club Fireworks 

Westhampton Beach Country Club, Westhampton Beach

Fireworks: 9 p.m.

The country club grounds are closed to the public, but the fireworks can be seen from locations throughout Westhampton Beach village.

John A. Ward Independence Day Fireworks

Sag Harbor Yacht Club, Sag Harbor

Fireworks: 9:30 p.m. 

Only members and invited guests allowed on club grounds, but the show can be seen from Marine Park and Haven’s Beach.

Devon Yacht Club Fireworks

Devon Yacht Club, Amagansett

Fireworks: 9:15 p.m. 

The fireworks display can be seen from all the area bay beaches.

Annual Carnival & Fireworks Show

Greenport Fire Department, 236 3rd St., Greenport

Fireworks: 10 p.m.


Sunday

Southampton’s Fresh Air Home presents their 27th annual American picnic with fireworks by Grucci. Tickets to the picnic, which is held at 1030 Meadow Lane, can be purchased online. The fireworks begin at 9 p.m. and can be seen from all area beaches.
