Thousands of tulips and an equally impressive number of people are expected at Heckscher Park for the tulip festival on May 5.

The Town of Huntington said the 13th annual festival will feature about 20,000 tulips. The festival is scheduled to run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Children's activities, musical performances, art exhibits, booths and more all shape the festival.

Community agencies interested in having a booth should click here to download a Tulip Festival Booth application. Only applications for free festival-appropriate family- or children-oriented activity booths are accepted. Activities with a floral or gardening theme, or related to the festival's setting in the park are strongly encouraged.
