POLL: Do You Find it Hard to Make a Living in New York?

New York ranks as the second-worst state to make a living in.

New York is the second-worst state to make a living, behind only Hawaii, according to a new study by MoneyRates.com.

MoneyRates reports:

"Incomes in the state may be above average, but when you factor in a high cost of living and a high state income tax, New Yorkers come out behind the typical worker. A relatively high unemployment rate does not help, and neither does its low ranking for work environment."
