The blessings of a beautiful fall day brought record crowds to Cow Harbor Day. Thousands of visitors lined Main Street to view the approximately hour-long Cow Harbor Day Parade, and then passed the day in .
For families with young children, the rides and games set up by of East Northport proved to be a main attraction. The Kiwanis Club served up hundreds of hot dogs and hamburgers for those who had worked up an appetite and visitors enjoyed perusing the wares of 70 vendors who had set up booths in the Village Park.
