Where/When: ; Friday from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Why Go: OperAlive! is presented by Do-ing Music and features works by Mozart, Verdi, Puccini, Bizet, and others. Enjoy the passion of opera and meet the artists following the performance.
Where/When: ; Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 8:30 p.m. Why Go: Enjoy a great weekend lineup of varying types of outstanding music. Friday – Cyril Neville, a New Orleans musician, touting Grammy award-winning work with the Neville Brothers, vocals and percussion with The Meters and his current work with The Voice of the Wetlands All-stars, Galactic and his own solo band TRIBE 13. Saturday – Brooklyn Rundfunk Orkestrata (BRO), with Peter Kiesewalter, from the Grammy-nominated East Village Opera Company. Featuring an adaptation of songs from the Rodgers and Hammerstein's musical "The Sound of Music". Sunday – North Shore Pops Orchestra, a large group of talented local musicians of all ages.

BEAT THE HEAT
Where/When: , and ; Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Why Go: Enjoy the heat wave by heading to the beach and getting your feet in the water. The beach features fishing, kayaking/canoeing, picnicking, boardwalks, concessions, restrooms and showers. Don’t forget the sunblock.
Where/When: ; Sunday 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. Why Go: If you work in the service industry, enjoy 20% off on Sundays for all glasses of wine and bottle selections in both the bar and retail shop. Proof of employment is required.
