Get Out! Northport's Weekend Planner for April 22-24

Holy Week, The Easter Bunny and The Wizard of Oz. Pick and choose from this weekend's variety of events.

Wondering what to do this weekend?  Patch to the rescue. We’ve got the best bets for your done-work outta-here time. Check our picks for the activities to hit and new bars/restaurants/shops to explore.
The Easter Bunny will visit Northport Village Park and Main Street Saturday, April 23 from 1 to 4 p.m. And the annual Northport/Centerport Lions' Club Easter Egg Hunt is scheduled for Northport Village Park on Easter Sunday at 1 p.m.
(Rain Date: Following Sunday)

Where/When: ; Saturday, 9 a.m.
Why Go: A bunny breakfast, Easter egg hunt, basket and bonnet parade and planetarium show.
Pricing: Adults $30, $25 for members; children $18, $15 for members.

HOLY WEEK SERVICES
Where/When: Friday, Saturday and Sunday, service times vary. Of special note is a sunrise service in Northport Village Park.
Why Go: It's the holiest week in the Christian religions.

Why Go: Follow the yellow brick road to the John W. Engeman theater and enjoy this beloved classic.
Pricing: $15 per person.


Where/When: Art-trium Gallery; Friday, 7 a.m.-7 p.m. and Saturday, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Why Go: View artwork from students of Commack, Harborfields, Huntington, North Babylon, Northport, POB-John F. Kennedy and Walt Whitman High Schools, on display at the "High Art Showcase VII" show at the Huntington Art Council's Art-trium Gallery.
