Guys and Dolls, Earth Day Expo and Parading Down Main Street. Pick and choose from these weekend events.

It’s Thursday, and you’ve got no idea what you’ll do for the weekend.

Patch is coming to the rescue. We’ve got the best bets for your done-work-outta-here time. Check our picks for the activities to hit and new bars/restaurants/shops to explore.


Where/When: , Bldg. 200 Pavilion Lobby, Northport, NY 11768; Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Why Go: The Northport Veteran Affairs Medical Center hosts an exhibit in their Pavilion Lobby with artwork created by survivors of sexual assault.
Pricing: Free.


Where/When: ; Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 8 pm.
Why Go: To be entertained by the music, dancing and crazy antics of this beloved, classic romantic comedy.


Where/When: , 100 Main St, Huntington, NY 11743; Saturday, 9 am-1 pm.
Why Go: The expo will provide plenty of practical information and resources for individuals interested in green living. The event includes tips on e-cycling and paper shredding, a green showcase, boating shrink-wrap recycling and, of course, the kids will get the chance to touch and climb aboard garbage trucks and ambulances.
Pricing: Free.


Where/When: 263 Laurel Rd, East Northport, NY 11731; Saturday, 10 am-5 pm.
Why Go: Go ahead and rummage for a yard sale treasure and know that your contribution is going to benefit a good cause.
Pricing: All proceeds of the sale go to the Long Island Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.


Where/When: ; Sunday, 1:30 pm.
Why Go: The Parade Down Main Street is an informative guided walking tour of Northport's historic business district. Learn about Northport's rich heritage through photos and storytelling.
Pricing: $5 per person.
