Although roads were mainy cleared by Thursday night and the sun had caused some snow to melt, temperatures were expected to drop steeply overnight according to the National Weather Service. That will likely icy road conditions. Leave early.

  3. The Northport girls basketball team remains undefeated. Tonight they travel to Bay Shore for a 6:30 pm game. The Elwood girls basketball team is undefeated as well. They will face Westhampton at home for a 6:30 p.m. game. See more info here.
