Extra Trains for Yom Kippur Travel
Three additional trains on both the Babylon and Port Jefferson branches.
The LIRR will operate eight additional eastbound trains from Penn Station between 2:08 p.m. and 3:48 p.m. Friday for those traveling home early in observance of Yom Kippur.
There will be three added trains on both the Babylon and Port Jefferson branches, and one each on the Port Washington and Far Rockaway Branches.
The Port Jeff trains are:
- 2:08 PM train to Jamaica, Mineola, local to Huntington
- 2:29 PM train to Forest Hills, Kew Gardens, Jamaica, New Hyde Park, local to Huntington
- 3:24 PM train to Jamaica, Mineola, Westbury and Hicksville
