Mascolo Donates Computers, TV, Bedding to Homeless Vets

Suffolk County Legislator Steve Stern (D-Huntington) 16th LD, Chairman of the Veterans and Seniors Committee, honored for his dedication and generosity to the residents of the Salvation Army Veterans Residence at the facility, which provides comprehensive rehabilitation, medical and counseling services to more than 50 homeless veterans.

Stern said that Mascolo continues to give selflessly to the men and women of this facility through donations of a computer lab, flat screen television and DVR, mattresses, pillows, blankets and monthly home-cooked meals for the residents.

“It is not often that people give as generously as Dr. Raymond Mascolo. Our nation’s veterans have sacrificed so much to protect our freedom and as a community, we must continue to honor them as well as those who are dedicated to them and their families. Dr. Mascolo’s strong commitment to our nation’s veterans and to the Salvation Army Veterans Residence is truly remarkable and I wish to thank him for his unwavering commitment to the men and women of our armed forces,” Stern said.
