Suffolk Police Report: Wine Theft; Taking Change

Second precinct arrests, July 18-24.

The following was taken from the Suffolk Police Department blotter. An arrest does not indicate a conviction as all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

  • Jennifer O'Brien, 46, from East Northport was arrested in Huntington on July 19 and charged with petty larceny after she allegedly stole a bottle of sauvignon blanc from Bottles and Cases.
  • Michael Rodriguez, 29, from East Northport was arrested in East Northport on July 18 and charged with petty larceny after he allegedly took change from someone. He also had a bench warrant.
  • Nicole Giovacco, 33, from East Northport was arrested in East Northport on July 24 and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation for allegedly driving with a suspended or revoked license.
  • Isiah Taylor, 21, from Huntington Station was arrested in Northport on July 20 and charged with first offense DWI and unlawful possession of marijuana after he crashed into a pole while driving east on Route 25.
  • Ronald Rakin, Jr, 29, from East Northport was arrested in East Northport on July 19 and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation because he was allegedly driving with a suspended or revoked license.
