Hello and welcome to the Wednesday edition of "The Daily Five," a rundown of things to know or do in the community.
1. Weather: Sunny, with a high near 42. West wind between 10 and 15 mph.
2. Zoning Board: The Northport Zoning Board will meet in Northport Village Hall at 7 p.m.
3. Get Fit and Healthy: Health and wellness educator Alysa Ferguson will lead a workshop at the Northport library to teach families small steps to encourage healthy habits. 7 p.m. FREE
4. Kindergarten Registration: Parents can register their children for Elwood Kindergarten at the district offices on 478 Elwood Road from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Have you ever heard of a place called "Get Official Samples" on the web, they give out a free samples of major brands to promote their products. I just got mine.
